WHAT IS THE PHILIPPINES-CANADA TRADE COUNCIL

It is a non-stock, non-profit corporation registered under the Federal Laws of Canada for the promotion of the trade and investments between the Philippines and Canada.

The mandates of the Council are as follows:

1. To promote fellowship among Filipino and Canadian professionals and businessmen in Canada and the Philippines.
2. To encourage and foster the advancement of understanding and goodwill among the Filipino and Canadian professionals and businessmen, and the development and business in particular, to sponsor seminars, conferences, lectures, exhibits and other related activities.
3. To represent, express and give effect to various opinions of the Members and the Philippines business community in Canada regarding trade and commerce, finance, industry and other related matters.
4. To gather and provide general information on matters that relate to trade and commerce or other undertakings of interest to the Members and the community.
5. To take active involvement in the civic, social and general welfare and well being of the Filipino communities in Canada.
6. To do any and all other things incidental or related to the attainment of the above objects.

WHO CAN BECOME MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL?

Any organization or individual interested in the pursuit of business or trade opportunities, or the welfare and economy, in Canada and/or the Philippines.

WHY JOIN THE COUNCIL?

The Council sponsors regular events that will keep you abreast of current trends, developments and opportunities in matters relating to trade and commerce, which are of interest to you, our Member.

In addition, our meetings are an excellent networking opportunity to meet with other professionals and businessmen.
